Waimānalo
Known for its local, laid-back flavor and large agricultural lots. It is one of the few areas on O’ahu were oncoming traffic will go out of their way to yield for you to merge or cross lanes. Drive slowly through Waimānalo, or you will miss it. It consists of only 4.4 square miles and is home to the longest stretch of sandy shoreline on O’ahu
Home to Sea Life Park, Makapu’u beach and sumo grand champion Chad Rowan, or Akebono.
